Lip blush

What is lip blush?

Lip blush is a semi-permanent makeup procedure that enhances the natural color and shape of the lips. This technique involves implanting pigment into the lips using a fine needle or digital machine, creating a soft, natural looking tint that can improve lip symmetry, definition and fullness. The results can last from one to three years, depending on the skin type and aftercare.

Pre-care instructions before your lip blush appointment:

- No tanning or sunburns 1 week prior to appointment

- No waxing 1 week prior to appointment

- No blood thinners 3 days prior to appointment

- No Vitamin E, Aspirin, Niacin, or Ibuprofen 24 hours before appointment

What to expect during your appointment (Appointments run about 2 1/2 hours):

- Numbing (20 minutes) I use a high strength professional lidocaine numbing cream that will effectively numb the lips before the procedure. *Please note during numbing your mouth will need to stay closed

- Lip mapping (15 minutes) Using professional measuring tools and your input I will map out a lip outline that will follow your natural lip line.  The outline will be as symmetrical as they can be based on each individual and their face, resulting in a natural soft familiar look.
